My name is Michael Fabing.

I am a software engineer from Toronto (Canada), with a master degree in Computer Science from France living in Lima (Peru). I code web-applications and DAPP (Decentralized application) and DAO (Decentralized autonomous organization) based on blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, IPFS, Solana, Gaia.

What is Blockchain?

Blockchain is a database or a ledger that maintains a continuously growing list of data records or transactions. These data are then distributed on many computer around the world.

In other word, it is like a spreadsheet like Excel?

In a way yes, but it has special qualities that make blockchain better than traditional databases.

Why "Novusteck"?

The word "Novus" mean "new" in Latin.
My focus is to implement, build and code applications based on blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, IPFS, BigchainDB and a little bit Hyperledger.

DAPP

DApp is an abbreviated form for decentralized application. A DApp has its backend code running on a decentralized peer-to-peer network. Contrast this with an app where the backend code is running on centralized servers

DAO

A decentralized autonomous organization is an organization constructed by rules encoded as a computer program that is often transparent, controlled by the organization's members and not influenced by a central government

Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) refers to the technology used by a distributed system for storing and accessing files, websites, applications, and data.
